Tomie dePaola!

We have been busy studying Tomie dePaola in reading and writing.  We wrote him letters as a class and got a response from him today!  He also sent us postcards and posted on his blog about one of our students, Makayla, and the letter that she wrote.  We are going to continue to read his books and study his characters and stories.  We are also using him as our mentor in writing.  We are so excited!  Be sure to visit Tomiesblog.blogspot.com to learn more about our favorite author!
