Math Fluency

As 2nd graders, we are working on becoming fluent mathematicians! We use games during our Interactive Math block and lessons during our Math Workshop to support math fact fluency. We are working towards being fluent with our combinations of ten (6+4, 8+2) and doubles facts (3+3, 7+7). One of the games we play is called 'I Have, Who Has'. This game involves teamwork and fluency with numbers. We have been working on our 'Numbers Plus One' game. Ask your child at home about our Interactive Math block!
