Today we had a fantastic first day of 2nd grade! We learned new classroom routines, played on the BIG playground, and became new Chets Creek Culinary Artists. We also met a Bug Chef! He actually cooked with different kinds of edible bugs such as crickets and scorpions. We had a few brave students from our classroom even sample a few of his dishes! We hope your child went home from school smiling and excited about a new school year. The rest of this week will be spent reviewing routines, classroom expectations, and getting our workshops started. Enjoy some pictures from our day!
